Task Alert ("Task Alert", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide while using our task-management and productivity service.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
When you create and use a Task Alert account, we may collect and store:
Account Information
- Name
- Email address
- Password information
- Email verification information
Your password is stored using appropriate password-hashing/security mechanisms and is not intended to be stored as plain-text password data.
Task and Reminder Information
We collect and store information that you create within Task Alert, including task names or descriptions, scheduled dates, scheduled times, reminder information, task status, timeline/repeat information, and other information necessary to provide task-management functionality.
You retain ownership of the content you create.
Device and Notification Information
To provide reminder notifications, we may collect and store a device or push-notification token associated with your account or device.
This allows Task Alert to send relevant notifications to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Authenticate your account.
- Verify your email address.
- Provide login and password-recovery functionality.
- Store and display your tasks and reminders.
- Schedule and deliver notifications.
- Provide Free and Pro functionality.
- Process subscription payments.
- Provide customer support.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain and secure the Service.
- Detect and prevent unauthorized or abusive activity.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or task content for advertising purposes.
3. How Your Task Data Is Used
Your task and reminder information is primarily processed and stored so that Task Alert can provide the functionality you request.
For example, we need to store your tasks so that you can access them later through your account and so that scheduled reminders can be generated.
Your tasks are not intended to be publicly displayed or made available to other Task Alert users.
4. Account Authentication and Security
Task Alert uses authentication mechanisms to protect your account.
Passwords are handled using password-hashing/security practices rather than being stored as readable plain-text passwords.
You are responsible for keeping your email address and password secure.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, security incidents, or other failures will never occur.
5. Notifications
Task Alert may use push-notification services to deliver reminders to your device.
To receive notifications, you must provide the necessary notification permission on your device.
Notifications may include information necessary to identify or remind you about a scheduled task.
Notification delivery can be affected by device settings, operating-system restrictions, network conditions, third-party notification infrastructure, maintenance, or other technical circumstances.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We may use third-party providers to help operate Task Alert.
These may include services for:
- Payment processing: Razorpay
- Push notifications: Expo and/or Firebase
- Email delivery: Resend and/or Gmail
- Hosting/server infrastructure: applicable hosting and infrastructure providers
- Other technical services required to operate and maintain Task Alert
These providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.
We do not sell your personal information to these providers for advertising purposes.
Third-party providers may have their own privacy policies and terms governing their services.
7. Payments
When you purchase Task Alert Pro, payment processing is handled through Razorpay or another payment provider made available by Task Alert.
Payment providers may collect information required to process your transaction.
Task Alert does not need to store your complete payment-card information in order to provide the subscription service.
Payment information may also be retained by the applicable payment provider according to its own policies and legal obligations.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or task content.
We may disclose information only where reasonably necessary, including:
- To service providers that help us operate Task Alert.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Service.
- To investigate fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity.
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, court orders, or valid requests from authorized government or law-enforcement authorities.
- Where disclosure is otherwise necessary or permitted by applicable law.
Where legally permitted, we may take reasonable steps to limit disclosures to information relevant to the applicable request or purpose.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account and task information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and maintain your account.
If an account is terminated, relevant information may be retained for a limited period for security, legal, operational, backup, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
After the applicable retention period, information may be deleted or anonymized.
We may retain certain information where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
10. Account Deletion
Users can request permanent deletion of their Task Alert account, profile, and all associated personal data at any time.
You can request account deletion directly through the mobile app settings or by visiting our public Account & Data Deletion Request Page.

11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures may include:
- Secure communication using HTTPS/TLS
- Password hashing
- Access controls
- Server and database security measures
- Security monitoring and maintenance
- Backups and recovery measures
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Children's Privacy
Task Alert is not intended to be used for purposes that require us to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where such collection is not permitted, we may take appropriate steps to delete the information.
Parents or legal guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information to us may contact us through the available support channel.
13. Cookies and Tracking
Task Alert's core task-management functionality does not require us to sell personal information or task content for advertising purposes.
If analytics, cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain their use where required by applicable law.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which may include the right to:

Task Alert — Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Task Alert. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Task Alert application and related services. By creating an account or using Task Alert, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. About Task Alert
Task Alert is a task-management and productivity application designed to help users create, organize, schedule, and manage tasks and tasks. Task Alert may be used for both personal and business purposes. It is a productivity tool and is not intended to replace professional, emergency, medical, legal, financial, or other critical services.
2. User Accounts
To use Task Alert, you must create an account. During registration, you may be required to provide your name, email address, and password. Your email address must be verified using the verification process provided by Task Alert. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Your account is personal to you and you must not share credentials or allow unauthorized access. You are responsible for activities performed through your account and should notify us if you believe it has been accessed without authorization.
3. Task and Task Data
Users may create, edit, schedule, and delete tasks and tasks. You retain ownership of the task and other content that you create and submit to Task Alert. Task Alert processes and stores task information so the Service can provide task-management and task functionality and allow you to access your information. Task Alert does not sell your task content or use it for advertising purposes. Task information is not publicly displayed or shared with other users through the Service.
4. Free Plan
The Free Plan allows a user to create up to 3 tasks. Once the maximum of 3 tasks has been reached, the user cannot create additional tasks under the Free Plan. Deleting an existing task does not reset or increase the user's task-creation allowance. Additional task-management functionality may require a Pro subscription.
5. Pro Subscription
Task Alert offers a Pro subscription for ₹399 for 30 days. Pro provides unlimited task creation and the ability to reuse or repeat previously created tasks across selected dates or periods using available timeline/repeat functionality. Pro access remains available for 30 days from the applicable purchase/activation period. Pro subscriptions currently do not automatically renew. After the 30-day period expires, another purchase is required to continue using Pro features. We may introduce, modify, add, or remove subscription features in the future.
6. Payments
Payments for Pro subscriptions are processed through Razorpay or other payment-processing services made available by Task Alert. By making a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction according to its applicable terms and policies. Task Alert does not store your complete payment-card details on its own servers unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Refund Policy
All Pro purchases are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Task Alert determines that a technical payment issue requires corrective action. If payment is successfully deducted but Pro access is not activated due to a technical issue, you may contact Task Alert through the available support or ticket system. We may investigate and, where appropriate, activate the purchased service or take another appropriate corrective action.
8. Notifications and Tasks
Task Alert may send notifications relating to scheduled tasks and tasks. Depending on task settings, task notifications may be sent approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled task and at the scheduled task time. Delivery requires appropriate notification permissions. Task Alert does not guarantee that every notification will be delivered exactly on time or delivered at all. Notifications may be delayed, interrupted, or missed because of technical issues, device settings, operating-system restrictions, network conditions, third-party services, maintenance, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. You remain responsible for monitoring and managing your tasks. Task Alert should not be used as the sole system for emergency, medical, life-critical, hazardous, legal, or other situations where task failure could result in serious harm or loss.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Task Alert only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use Task Alert for illegal activities.
- Attempt to access another user's account or information without authorization.
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, servers, databases, or infrastructure.
- Hack, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code.
- Copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or create unauthorized derivative versions.
- Introduce malware, viruses, malicious code, or harmful material.
- Use the Service for spam, abuse, harassment, or malicious activities.
- Disrupt, damage, overload, or interfere with the Service or infrastructure.
- Circumvent security measures, usage limits, or access restrictions.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to take appropriate action against accounts involved in prohibited activities.
10. Intellectual Property
Task Alert and its underlying technology are owned by or licensed to Task Alert, including the Task Alert name, logo and branding, application design and user interface, source code, software, features, graphics, text, and other proprietary materials. Except for the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Task Alert without prior written permission. Your ownership of content created within the Service remains unaffected.
11. Service Availability
We aim to keep Task Alert available and functional, but do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from bugs or technical issues. Task Alert may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, server issues, security measures, technical problems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We may modify, update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service when reasonably necessary.
12. Changes to Features and Plans
Task Alert may add, modify, improve, restrict, or remove features from the Free or Pro versions. We may also introduce new plans, features, pricing structures, or functionality. If the Pro subscription price changes, the new price will apply to future purchases and will not alter an already-purchased 30-day Pro period.
13. Third-Party Services
Task Alert may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, email delivery, notifications, hosting, infrastructure, or other technical services, including providers such as Razorpay, Expo, Firebase, Resend, Gmail, hosting providers, or other services used from time to time. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. Task Alert is not responsible for interruptions, failures, or limitations caused solely by third-party services.
14. Account Suspension and Termination
Task Alert may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably determine that you violated these Terms or engaged in prohibited, fraudulent, abusive, illegal, or security-threatening activity. This applies to Free and Pro accounts. If termination results from a violation, you will not be entitled to a refund for an unused Pro period, except where required by applicable law. Following termination, task and account data may be retained for a limited period for operational, security, legal, or other legitimate purposes and may subsequently be deleted in accordance with our data-retention practices and Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimer
Task Alert is provided as a productivity and task-management service. We do not guarantee that tasks will always be available without interruption, notifications will always be delivered or arrive at the exact intended time, the Service will always be free from errors, or data/functionality will never be temporarily unavailable. You use Task Alert at your own discretion and risk. Task Alert is not an emergency alert system and should not be relied upon for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or life-critical matters.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Task Alert and its owners, operators, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from missed, delayed, or failed notifications, task availability issues, service interruptions, technical failures, device issues, network problems, or reliance on the Service for critical matters. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Privacy Policy
Your use of Task Alert is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, features, pricing, legal requirements, or business practices. When changes are made, we may update the Last Updated date and, where appropriate, provide notice through the application or other reasonable means. Continued use of Task Alert after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in India, subject to applicable law.
